Dear Family,
My memory candle mostly involves Aline’s and Gerry’s children since we are friends of Gerry and Gloria in Idaho Falls. Having spent this past year sharing an enthusiasm for the sport of Paragliding and mountain driving adventures at King Mountain in the Big Lost River Valley, we spend many summer evenings at our campfires sharing vignettes of our life experiences.
Stores from the Gibeault household got particularly interesting one evening when Jeanne, Leeanne and Peggy shared childhood memories at Gerry & Gloria’s campfire. We laughed ourselves silly as we heard about the adventures and misadventures of three boys and three girls growing up in the Gibeault household.
These four “kids” shared with love and gratitude for “Mom and Dad”. Those of us around the campfire – including Trond & myself, and John & Rae Kangas were fortunate to be privy into this family’s looking glass into the past.
In the weeks ahead, we look forward to meeting Roland and David as the two brothers visit the Big Lost River Valley after family events elsewhere in Idaho. Hopefully our paths will cross with Dad as well.
We are grieved over the sudden unexpected loss of your wife and mother. May your fond memories and your faith bring God’s mercies, hope and peace to lessen your pain and comfort you in your sorrow.
Much love,
Renee & Trond Bjornard

As neighbors, we would always wave hello to one another and often chat as she would either drive by or walk up the driveway to fetch her mail. Aline loved the outdoors you could tell. Aline had many bird feeders surrounding her home and often talked about how she loved gardening although disappointed that nothing would grow because of all the trees around her home "There isn't enough sun" she would say. One year, our three girls brought Aline a pretty little rose bush. Aline would sit with our three girls who would walk down to the little house tucked in the woods and tell them stories. Often, she would tell them about birds and how much she loved them. Aline would send her bird magazines home with the girls who just recently used them for a school project. Aline would always offer candy to the girls(Sophia would always sneak more...Aline wouldn't say a word but just giggle on the side). It wasn't easy but at Christmas time Aline would walk up the hill with her walking stick and air tank and bring our family her homemade Christmas cookies. Boy were they good!!! Aline often sent a big bag of candy to our house for the girls birthdays. Although we were unfortunate to have known Aline for long, we are grateful for the time we did have. Aline was a beautiful lady with a kind soul. We will miss her very much.

No matter how old we are,
Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on. Like a legacy of love that will always be with you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Peggy and her family at this time of loss.

I was so shocked to hear of Aline's passing. In my memory she will be remembered as a very strong lady. She was such a huge help to me when I started working at Dr. Mahendran's. I loved talking with her because she was down to earth and would see things in a realistic point of view. I may not have spoken to her often, but I did just a few months ago and just like old friends just pick up our conversation has if no time had passed. She was good person who was honest. My heart goes out to her husband, Aline was his rock and support. My prayers are with him.

Such a part of my family's life for so many years. I have so many fond memories of you and Pepe Gerry, of your wonderful family being a part of mine. All the gorgeous burp cloths you made for Amelie; so pretty that I hated to use them to clean up anything dirty! Your beautiful soul will be so sadly missed.
All of our love and peace,
