Obituary of Aline P. Gibeault

Brooklyn- Aline P. Gibeault, 83, of Brooklyn, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam from injuries from an auto accident. Beloved wife of Gerald Gibeault, they were married July 4, 1947 at Our Lady of LaSalette Church in Brooklyn, she was born July 18, 1925, in Killingly, daughter of the late Eugene and Amilda (Hubert) Perreault. She attended St. James School and Killing High School, upon completion of her education she worked at Pryms until her marriage when she devoted herself to the raising and care of her family. She worked at Danielson Curtain, Rogers Company and as a nurses aide at Day Kimball Hospital for twenty years and also as an EKG Tech. After her retirement she worked for Dr. Mahendran as an assistant. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, especially to Idaho. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the UCONN Women's Basketball. She enjoyed gardening, crafting and was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren at their sporting events and was very proud of their athletic accomplishments that all of her grandchildren attended college. Aline was the matriarch of her family. In addition to her husband Gerald, she leaves her children and their spouses: Gerald G. Gibeault and his wife Gloria of Idaho Falls, ID; Roland E. Gibeault and his wife Carmen of Brooklyn; David R. Gibeault and his wife Susan of Brooklyn, Jeanne Marie Lenz and her husband Don of Ashton, ID, Leeanne G. Gibeault of Brooklyn, Peggy R. Traub and her husband Daniel of Kent, two brothers: J. Eugene Perreault of Appleton, WI; H. Richard Perreault of Danielson, 17 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Rachel Loiselle. Calling hours Monday, June 8, 2009 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St, Danielson, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT.
