I am saddened beyond belief at the loss of my friend, Miriam. She was a wonderful lady with a wealth of life experiences to share. There are so few people who can claim knowledge of the world events she has been witness to. She was a kind soul with a gracious word to say about everyone. She also had a keen sense of humor and came out with some very witty comments. I wish I had come into her life earlier than I did but am happy to have known her and hope I learned a few things from her. I am confident she is at peace with her siblings in heaven.

I was shocked to hear of Miss Rowley's passing. My mother who is in PA at the moment heard about it from a friend.
Miss Rowley was a big part of our family for so many years. She lived in the apartment on our property. She was at my wedding. She was always so kind. She always had a little gift for me and my sister and brother. I will always remember her.

Miriam was one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. She lived a full life and I am richer for having met her. She truly was a gift to many.

Not in Vain
Emily Dickerson
If I can stopo one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain:
If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain, Or help one fainting robin Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain.
What a great mind!
Miriam loved reading both fiction and non-fiction, but she especially loved poetry. Some patrons would look to see if Miriam had read a book, and if she had, they would remark, "if Miriam read this book , it will be a good book for me too'. I will miss her coming in on Thursdays, and she will be greatly missed.

May Almighty God of all Comfort and tender mercies Comfort the Rowley family
(2Co.1:3,4),
The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, Almighty God will wipe out every tears from their eyes and death will be no more (ACTS 24:15, JOHN 5:28
and REVELATION 21:4) His HOPE
and PROMISE SOON TO BE ATTAIN,
May these thoughts be of some Comfort.
