Being so far away all these years I took for granted that my Uncle Ray would always be here. I have so many memories of spending weekends with him woodworking, gardening and fishing. His home was my sanctuary and he was my friend at a time in my life when I really needed it. Now that I think back, he was teaching me so much more with his straight forward morals and easy going ways. I hope he continues to watch over me and I love him and miss him so much. Rest in peace Uncle Ray.

Uncle Ray was the most genuine, kind and loving person. He always had a big smile on his face and open arms for his loved ones and friends. There are too many memories to write and our dinners and parties just won't ever be the same. We LOVE YOU and will always have you in our hearts and prayers and life. Rest in peace and don't forget to drink your water in heaven.

I remember Mr. Erskine from when my mom used to babysit Christina. Even then he never forgot me, said hello everytime I ran into him. Asked about my mom, my husband. a really nice guy. As I grew older I went to Ellis Tech where he taught, though he had retired, he subbed occasionally and I just so happened to be in the carpentry shop. He had a wonderful sense on humor. I will miss running into him. All my sincere condolences to the family. He was a wonderful man.

We will certainly miss uncle Ray, for he touched our lives in so many ways! For all the wooden toys he made and just spending time playing board games when i was younger...he always had a smile and a story to tell.
Your ALL in hearts as you go through such a tragic loss.
