I worked with Jim at The Hartford, since 2003. He was at times my boss, my mentor and other times my partner as we navigated the corporate environment to accomplish and build something we could be proud of. He was one of the few people I worked with at The Hartford who had integrity, honesty, a good heart who cared about his co-workers. His intellect was amazing and I never ceased to learn something from him when working with him. I will miss him and offer my sincere condolences to his family.

Witty, intelligent, and debonair - all words that make me think of Jim. Pulled out pictures and saw a baby Jesse at the lake and all of us young and laughing, which we did a lot around Jim and Tina. My best memories of EDS are from that time and our friendship. Tina, Jesse and Aaron, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the privilege of working with and for Jim at The Hartford over the past 7+ years. He was an exceptionally intelligent man but most of all he was a kind and genuine person. I will miss him, may the peace of the Lord surround his loved ones at this difficult time.

My greatest memories of Jim are that he was my Lumber Jack
Hero, He loved his family dearly, loved his land, built Tina and himself their dream house with his own two hands on their land, loved his dogs, and had so many building toys like his backhoe and more......
Jim absolutely Loved his Tina, Jessie and Aron and was a hard committed hard worker at his job......
My children remember him as the Nature Man who loved to hunt with his dogs.
Jim will truly be missed.....

And what a great smile!

Hey Jim, I stood out on Penfield Reef last night remembering some of our late night beach excursions. As incredibly sad as I am knowing I won't see you anymore, I have many more smiles than tears remembering the adventures. You'll always be a madman in my mind and a brother. I'll miss you your friend Hack
