Obituary of Leon G. LaMarre

Leon G. LaMarre February 17, 1936 to July 8, 2015 Woodstock - Leon G. LaMarre, “Lee” passed away on July 8, 2015. Born and raised in New England, he moved to Florida in 1968 to pursue his career as an Electrical Engineer for the Navy and the Air Force at the Cape Canaveral Air Station, specializing in missile safety. Upon his retirement he enjoyed family and traveling between Woodstock, CT and Melbourne, FL. He is survived by his wife Joyce and a large family of loving children and grandchildren. A memorial celebration will be held Sunday, July 12 at 4pm in the South Woodstock Baptist Church, 23 Roseland Park Road, Woodstock, CT.
