Obituary of Lavada Kathleen Harding

Lavada Kathleen Harding “Kathy” (Ragsdale), 66, of Woodstock, CT passed away on October 31, 2015 in Worcester, MA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 12, 1949 in Compton, CA, daughter of the late Floyd and Gladys (McIntire) Ragsdale. Kathy was a beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, and Aunt. Although she was a California native, she called Woodstock home for the past 33 years. She loved to bake and was the baker at Hyde School in Woodstock for many years. When she wasn’t baking, you’d find her working in her flower gardens, painting watercolors, setting a beautiful table for a Sunday family dinner, or creating fun projects for her granddaughters. All who knew her will miss her generosity, kindness, and love. Kathy leaves behind her husband, Donald Harding, her daughter and son-in-law, Katrina (McDermott) and Todd Milanese, two sons, Christopher Fischkelta and Ryan Harding, two granddaughters, Emma and Libby Fischkelta and their mother Anna Pingitore, as well as her brother Kenneth Ragsdale and many adoring nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at The East Woodstock Congregational Church in East Woodstock on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Woodstock Congregational Church, P.O.
