Obituary of Richard C. Buckner

Richard C. Buckner, 58, of Woodstock Valley, lost his battle with lung cancer on May 4th, 2017 after courageously fighting for ten months. Rich was born on December 11th, 1958 in Da Bronx, New York City and was the first born of four children to Robert and JoAnn (Paradiso) Buckner.
Rich loved to travel to the Far East, especially to Thailand and India. During his travels in Thailand Rich met his wife Apiwan (Nok). They married in 2004 and have a son Anthony Buckner. Growing up Rich enjoyed spending time at sporting events with his dad. He had a passion for acquiring and displaying his sports memorabilia from NY as well as cultural objects from his travels around the world.
Rich always enjoyed hearing about any travel adventures from others and was eager to share his experiences with friends and family. His many friends around the world were always invited to visit if they were in the states. He will be missed by many.
