On a professional level, I have worked with Mike on many projects at UConn, and have thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him. On a personal level, I have fished for salmon with Mike, and although I never caught one, Mike was always very encouraging to me. He would tell me that it would happen someday. Mike was a great guy, and I will truly miss working and fishing with him!

Mike always enjoyed a good laugh, especially after a good golf or fishing outing where he did well. He IS a good person who will always be remembered as one who thought of others before himself.

I was a classmate of Mike at Tantasqua Regional High School in Sturbridge. As a youngster I would visit with Mike and his brother David at their home on Willard Road.
Though I hadn't seen Mike since graduation, there are some folks you don't forget.
Rest in peace Mike.

To the family of Michael Curran:
First, please let me express my deepest condolences on Mike's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. Mike was a wonderful man.
I knew Mike through my professional dealings with him as a client while I was working at an environmental consulting firm from 1997 to 2003. What I remember most was his friendliness and his obvious love for people. He always had good things to say and always seemed genuinely pleased to chat with people. I know I enjoyed my chats with him tremendously.
May our Lord and Savior bless you and keep you, Michael. You will be missed!
God's comfort and blessings to you, his family.
