I remember Francis as a classmate in grammar school in Thompson. I also recall some wondereful visits to him home on Thompson Hill road where we played numerous games with his brothers. He will be missed. My prayers are with him and his family at this difficult time.

I am so sorry to read of Frank's passing. Besides many memories of Boy Scouts, my favorite memory of Frank and Fred is their little Nash Rambler convertible with the "wind-up" key on the trunk. One day as we were driving behind them as we drove up the hill on 193 by their house, they started going slower and slower and slower. Finally one of them reached back and started turning the "wind-up" key on the trunk. Immediately the little car found a burst of energy and sped off. I can't remember a time when my Dad and I laughed so hard.

The twins were ushers at our wedding, Oct. 4,1960. I also remember a time when my mother was babysitting for them. They were about 2 years, I think, which made me only about 4. They must have gotten into some mischief because I remember my mother having them do what now would be called a "time out" on 2 stools in the living room. I can still picture them sitting there in their diapers! It must have been a hot day. Frankie also visited with my mother shortly before her death, which really pleased her.

So sorry to read of Frank's passing. Frank, his twin brother Freerick, and older brother David were special cildhood friends. We spent many many days exploring our farm in West Thompson and their property on Rte 193. Although I hadn't seen or heard of Frank's activities for years, those early years experiences will always be cherished. Sincere condolences to the family. I regret my work will not allow me to attend services.

Uncle Franks death came as quite a shock. I will surely miss the Saturday night conversations about genealogy, classic cars, and many other subjects. I know he's in a much better place, I only wish I would have made it up to see him one last time. Rest in Peace Uncle Frank.
