Obituary of Carolyn "Carrie" Ann Car

Carolyn Ann Carrie (Morrow) Carvalho, 40, of Seward Street, Putnam, died unexpectedly Thursday July 21, 2005, at the Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, RI. She was born November 15, 1964 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late Edward J. Morrow and Carol Mahaney Robinson. She was a resident of Putnam since 1992, formerly of Chicopee, MA and Buffalo, NY. She was a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation, she was active with the church as a Eucharistic Minister, attended the Womens Prayer Group, a Sunday School Teacher and volunteered at ST Mary School. She was a graduate of Elms College in Chicopee, MA. Carrie was a Social Worker. For over 13 years she was employed at the Haven Health Center in Danielson as the Director of Social Services and Discharge Planning. She enjoyed scrapbookking, her pets and was a loving and devoted mother. She leaves her son Joseph G. Carvalho of Putnam, two brothers John Morrow and his wife Brenda, of Houston TX, Paul Morrow of Portland OR, several aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, godsons and her former husband Gilbert Carvalho of Putnam. The Funeral wil be Tuesday at 9:45 AM from the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Calling hours Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam.
