I went to Grammar School and Windham High with Al and hadn't seen him in years until recently when he looked me up to come to our 50th Class Reunion which my wife, Joyce, and I attended. I was very sorry to read of his passing in the Norwich Bulletin. Our sincere condolences on the passing of Al. Sorry we could not attend today.

I first met Al at the New Years get together at a friends home. We became very close friends...and more. I was taxi driver,
nurse, cook, and caring friend. Lots of hours at
hospitals over about 7 months.
Everthing moved along, from
one hospital to another, with me in tow.
Finally, they let him go home.. 2 nites later, he
died at his home,having
just left me with hug & kiss. He will always be with me. ... forever.

I have only known Al since
I met him on New Year's day of 2005 at his niece's home North Windham. Since that time we came to care
deeply for each other, and
spent every moment together that we could manage, and still keep in touch with our family and friends.
