Obituary of Paul V. Orcutt

Paul V. Orcutt, age 54, of Jacques Road, Danielson, died unexpectedly Friday, January 27, 2006 in Lawrence, MA. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Bobok) Orcutt, they were married August 14, 1976 in Cheshire, CT. He was born September 1, 1951 in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Vincent T. and Helen (Volkman) Orcutt. Paul made his home in Danielson for the last 30 years moving from Niantic. He was a graduate of ST Bernards High School, Class of 1969 and attended Mitchell College in New London. He was a communicant of ST James Church in Danielson. Paul was an Account Executive for the Zurich Insurance Company for the last eight years. He had previously worked at the Meade Insurance Agency and Danielson Federal Savings and Loan. He was a lifelong member of the Niantic Fire Department, a lifelong member of the Danielson Fire Department and a member and Past President of the Exchange Club in Danielson. Paul was a devoted husband and father. Paul loved boating, the shore and loved life. He leaves in addition to his wife, a daughter Bethany A. Orcutt of Brighton, MA, a son Christopher V. Orcutt of Danielson, a brother Darrell V. Orcutt and his wife Greta of Charlotte, NC. Paul leaves behind many nieces and nephews and many close friends. A Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 1:30 pm at ST James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson. Calling hours will be Monday, January 30, 2006 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
