Obituary of Edna M. Patenaude

Edna M. Patenaude (Mitchell) of Pomfret, died on March 3, 2006 at the age of 92. She was born in Southbridge, MA on October 14, 1913 to Irving and Mamie (Tatreau) Mitchell. She and her late husband Bernard lived in Webster, MA for many years before moving in 1951 to Pomfret where they owned and operated the Pomfret Spirit Shoppe for 30 years. She is survived by her four children and their spouses; Nancy and Martin Kuckly of Santa Fe, NM, Adrienne and James Curtis of Brockton, MA, Bernard L. and Janice Patenaude, Jr. of E. Greenwich, RI, David I. and Mary Patenaude of Pomfret, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held April 1st (Saturday) at a time to be announced, in South Cemetery, Pomfret. A Calling Hour will be April 1st, time to be announced, at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
