Laura J. Perry, age 34, of Thompson, CT, died unexpectedly Monday in Maine. She was born in Putnam, July 16, 1972, daughter of Ralph Perry of Indiantown, FL and Carlene (Peterson) Perry of ST Regis Falls, NY. She was employed at Chace Building Supply in Woodstock, working as an accounts payable clerk, she was a former supervisor in the dietary department at Harrington memorial Hospital in Southbridge, she also was a waitress at J. D. Coppers in Putnam. She operated a day care in Southbridge. She was a 1990 graduate of Southbridge High School. In her youth she attended the United Methodist Church in Putnam. She enjoyed horseback riding, the outdoors and trips to the beach. She leaves her parents Ralph and Carlene, her daughter: Melanie Curboy of Thompson; three brothers; Jeffrey Perry; John Perry both of Pomfret; Norman Perry of Moosup; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hours Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, Funeral Service Saturday at 11:00 am at the North Woodstock Congregational Church, 1227 Route 169, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers donation may be made for the Benefit of her daughter Melanie Curboy c/o Citizens National Bank, PO Box 119, Woodstock, CT 06281.
