Marion was my first private music instructor. She arranged for me to go to Connecticut and audition at UCONN with the help of her son Jerre. Her passion for music is something I will carry with me everyday that I walk into my music classroom in Manchester, NH because she helped me become a teacher. I love you Marion. Thanks for being my teacher.

I remember Marion Filmore--At the time I was a chubby little kid starting school in Presquee Isle and this very fashionable teacher was always there to give me a gentle hug and encouragement. I was pleased to realize that she had lived such a long life and was able to enjoy many great-grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren because she dearly loved children. I am now 58 yrs old and enjoy my own grandchildren too. I can probably count on one hand the teachers that impacted my life, but yes, I remember Mrs. Filmore. God bless you all and thank you for sharing your wonderful Mother with a little girl that needed her.

Her thoughtfulness and kindness will always be remembered. She loved to go out to eat and would hand you the money and say lets go out for dinner, she also loved her games. I'll miss playing with her. I certainly won't forget how she got me to take her for her last Driver's License. I will miss her always.
