I had many happy times spent with cousin Doe in Woodstock and, especially at the Woodstock Fair in September!Being on my own with Doe was my first taste of teenage "freedom" even with a cousin,..it was always a safe thing to do back then, in the 70's because Constable "Uncle Joe" was always there to watch over us. I have many happy memories of those times and all those sleepovers at Doreen's house with her mom & dad being there. Uncle Joe, you will be missed, but remembered, fondly! May you be at peace! with lovexoxo cousin-deb

Mr. Parent was always a very kind and supportive gentleman to both Payton and myself at the Tri State Kart Club. Whenever he attended a race, he would trudge over to our pit spot in the blazing heat to say hello or compliment my son on his track performance. Mr. Parent was very proud of his family, especially his grandson Aaron, and would share anecdotes of the past and present with me while I was working on Payton's kart! My thoughts and prayers are with the Parent family during this difficult time. His presence at the track will be greatly missed!

What a priveledge and honor to have known Uncle Joe. Every time I see a handle-bar mustache I am flooded with memories! :) It was always so exciting when Uncle Joe and Aunt Tassa pulled up in our yard...we knew there'd be fun stories told, and teasing and laughing!! Know that though we're far away (Utah), our prayers are with you all!! Love, Amy

Aunt Tassa & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I was was telling my husband about Uncle Joe a couple of weeks ago. About the time when I was in high school and I was sure Celtics would win the playoffs. Uncle Joe made a bet with me that they would not. If the Celtics lost I was going to have to clean out his horse stalls, if they won he had to make me crepes for breakfast one morning...those were the best crepes I ever had!
He will be greatly missed. I am sorry that I could not attend the services, but please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you.
