Obituary of James A. Logee
EASTFORD, James A. Logee, age 48, went to be with the Lord, Saturday after a short battle with cancer, husband of Faye (Buell) Logee. Born in Putnam son of Roger B. Logee and the late Fay Logee.
Jim was part owner of Jimmys Greenhouses in Danielson. He was a member of the Congregational Church of Eastford, serving the community working with the youth at church and being an active and dedicated member of the Windham County 4-H Foundation.
In addition to his wife Faye of 26 years, and father, he leaves his three daughters, Keri Logee of Danielson, Heather Logee of Pomfret, and Jessica Logee of Eastford, two sisters, Betty Merow of Pomfret, Kathy Griswold of Groton, a brother, Rick Logee of Danielson.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. A Celebration of Jims Life will be Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Congregational Church of Eastford, 8 Church Road, Eastford.
