Paulette, Norman, and Robert - As you know I worked with your mom for many years at Church Clothing and remained friends long after we both left. She always had a smile for everyone, took great pride in her appearance, and had a tremendous talent for her work. She lived for her family and through my friendship with her I was lucky enough to get to know each of you. I also have fond memories of our Sewing Club where we talked, laughed, and ate more than we sewed. Your mom had a lot of fun in her 85 young years and I'm sure she's getting to know everyone now in heaven and hopefully will get to spend more time on her passion for "dancing". I'm happy to have had her as a friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

The staff and residents at Christopher Heights send their sincerest sympathy. Even though Fran was only here a short time, she has left very fond memories, especially with the 2nd floor ladies. Even today as I was upstairs, several ladies stopped me to say how sad they were about Fern. She always had a smile for everyone and seemed to draw people to her. We have lost a lovely lady.

Dear Paulette and Dave: We were so sad to read of your Mom's passing. She was so full of life. When she worked with me at the Probate Court, I asked her "Fern, you are an inspiration to me - how old do you feel because you are so vital?" She answered, "I never feel older than 27 years old in my mind and heart." I often talk about the pride she always had in how she looked - she was a very special lady and will be missed. Love, Dottie and Joe Roy

I worked with Fern and the Killingly Town Hall when she was a 'Green Thumb Lady' at the Probate Office. She was always cheerful and had a smile and/or a joke for pretty much everyone. She was a 'Fun Old Broad' and will be missed. Please accept my condolences.
