I just learned tonight about your mother's passing last spring and want to express my sympathy to both of you. Part of my childhood memories are times playing at at either of our homes or at Lords Point when you all came down to visit. Your mother was always so patient with us kids. She was a good lifelong friend of my mother's.

What a beautiful picture of Shirly. She is, and always will be, a large part of all my memeories. I still remember running up the stairs over Kay's to Arthur's office just to talk to her and that was a very long time ago! She was a wonderful woman and I will always treasure having had her in my life.
