Sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Mrs. Siegmund was a wonderful teacher. I don't think I would have passed algebra without her! My condolences to Lisa and the family. Christine Quintal

Paul, Lisa & Curt- I can't tell you how sorry we all are to hear about your mom's passing. We all have so many fond childhood memories of her and your entire family. I am so glad that I got to reconnect with all of you after so many years and that I got to spend time with both of your parents. I still have the voice mail on my phone that your mom left me when she was wondering why she hadn't heard from my mom. This was just right before she had surgery. I feel like we have lost a legend. I passed the news on to my mom who always looks at the bright side of things and is happy she is back with Walter. My mom is looking forward to seeing them both again one day. Pam and Chrissie send their love. We are all thinking of you! Take care and relish your memories.
Love Chickie, Pam Chrissie and Aunt Dot

Soooo many memories! She was a wonderful woman. Warm and loving. Here are a couple of photos I came across. At least one of those has got to be from one of those many New Years gatherings, which we all remember so well. I think they are all gathering now on the other side. Blessings to Lois and all the others. Sending my love, prayers and best wishes Paul, Lisa and Kurt. Be well.

What a lovely tribute to Lois! I counted myself among the very lucky to have had Lois as both a friend and colleague. Conversations with Lois were always thought provoking and fun. I'm really going to miss them. Lois was one-of-a-kind and a woman ahead of her time--and a wonderful teacher. I am so blessed to have had her in my life. My deepest sympathy to Lisa, Paul, and Kurt. I know your wonderful memories of her will help you through this very difficult time.

The tribute written is lovely. She was a dynamic person so dedicated to the importance of education and being a lifelong learner. She always had engaging conversation and expressed a passion for life that left you with a spark of that energy. She helped inspire my interest in science. Aunt Lois was an amazing person and will be greatly missed.
