Richie,
As I look at this picture of you, I see a man who was loved (as Daria so aptly said) more than you knew. After being with your family this past week, I know in my heart what you gave to others, truly came back to you. Their love for you will be eternal and their memories of you will be handed down through the lives of your grandchildren. Thank you for the time you spent with them. Your gentle words of encourgement and support throughout the years. The way that you treated others, has become an inspiration for me. I intend to honor your memory, by being sure others are acknowledged even when they don't know it.
I believe this..WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY
HUMAN EXPERIENCE and we will all be together when it is our turn to pass. So I'm not saying good-bye, I am saying until we all meet again.
Love you
Reb

My deepest sympathy goes out to you, Daria and your family. Your loss is too great for words, your task too mush for one person to burden. You are loved more than you can know. We all share your loss, we all take up the task of living on with you in our hearts and minds.

My Family,
You can shed tears that Richard is gone
or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back
or you can open your eyes and see all he has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can not see him
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember him and only that he's gone
or you can cherish the memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

My greatest regret, is not being able to have seen Richie one more time. Whenever we were together, and with our families, we had alot of good times. Sincere and full of love & life. All of which was evident in his love for Daria and the kids. I will miss him dearly.

The Lord knows how much we all loved Uncle Richie and, how much we still do. Nothing can stop love, nothing can erase the memories we hold the closest to our hearts, because he is still there, In our hearts and full of love.

It is very hard to wrap my mind around the fact that I am reading Rich's obituary. A beautiful person gone way too soon. Although our contact was sporatic in the last 10 years he was (and still is) at the top of my list of favorite people.
In high school and the years that followed Rich and I spent ALOT of time together. I like to think of it as "the good, the bad and the ugly years". We did go through some stuff together propping each other up all along the way. I will always hold those memories in my heart and know that Rich is somewhere looking out for me right now.
It's a hard reminder that we should NEVER lose contact with the people we love.
My deepest sympathy goes to Daria and her family at this time. I am so happy that he had so much love in his life. If I can't be there on Saturday please know that you are in my thoughts.
Rest In Peace buddy and know that I love ya.

My Dearest Sister, Daria-
You can not see the hole in my heart, nor my tear stained soul I have because of the loss of your husband.
Though I never really knew him all that well, the fact that you chose him as your life mate and champion tells me that he was some kind of wonderful.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family during these shadowy times of loss and grief.
Your brother David.

I loved Rich like a father. He was always so good to my children, he loved them like no other. He loved me and cared for me, and was protective over me. I miss him so much already, I just can't believe all of this. Rich was a wonderful man, and he will always be loved and in my heart. He would always give me advise, but never hold it against me if I chose not to take it. He respected my decisions, and was so supportive and kind. I love you Rich, like my own father, I miss you terribly, and I will never forget you, and I will never let my children forget you. Your memory will always be alive. Love Forever, your daughter, Lina

My grandfather was the best grandfather in the world. He had no children of his own, so we were like his. He spoiled us like a grandfather, but treated us like his children. He was alway spending time with us, and playing with us. My first slow dance was with my Jaji. He was so young and its a tragic thing hat he had pasted away, but at least we have very many great memories about him.
Love his grandaughter Paigee <3
