Barbra was my “school mom” for the 4 years I went to Woodstock academy and I adored her! Later on in life when I worked for Day Kimball hospital I became her caregiver in home. We had a wonderful relationship and friendship and I absolutely loved working for and with her. Her daughters were also a treasure to me. Always caring compassionate concerned and appreciative of me. I felt like family. I can’t express how saddened I am about her loss. A true Woodstock icon. My deepest sympathy to her family. She will always be missed.

Mrs. Rosen as all who respected her called her. She helped me to navigate our time at the academy.

To the family of Barbara Rosen:
I remember her well as my Mom's (Vernette Withers) close friend. My nurse at Woodstock Academy. What a lovely lady she was. My condolences to everyone.

Mrs. Rosen was my daughter's neighbor since 1986. My daughter, Holly Rush, always says that Mrs. Rosen was one of the nicest, friendliest women she ever met. She was always smiling and extremely friendly and caring. She would always remember Holly and my granddaughter, Chelsea, with cards, books and other little rememberances for their birthdays and Christmas. She has been missed since she left the Beech St. neighborhood and will continue to me missed and fondly remembered. Our sincere sympathy to her entire family.
