She enjoyed the students and was a source of comfort for many throughout the years.  Barbara's happiest days were when her children brought their friends home to enjoy her famous chocolate chip cookies and good times. Barbara was known to be kind, loving, good humored and always wearing a smile. Even during her worst days of her illness, she was described as being gracious and sharing her smile with others.
