Hi Dad. Just stopping by to say hello. You're still very much missed and loved. We think about you all the time, at every family function. I keep you close in my heart. No need to ever worry about Mom, either. I do my best to be there for her. Hope you're doing well! Craig says "hi," too!

Hi Dad. It's almost your one-year anniversary. It's been a tough year. But I want you to know that everyone is doing ok. I am trying to take care of the family the best that I can, to make you proud. We all love you and miss you a lot. I am leaving this picture here so you can enjoy it as much as I do. I hope wherever you are, you know that we love you very much!

I remember Roland as a teenager brother to Joey and Dan. We used to hang around at ole Floyd's barn. He was a rugged individual. He went off to serve his country and I lost touch with him. But even after his illness, even after all the years went by and I met him walking with his most devoted wife, he remembered me by name. This, probably after more then 50 years of not being in touch. He always seemed to continue to be the rugged individual he was in his younger days as he struggled to walk with his wife in his later days. My condolences to the Houle/Deasy family for their loss.

So sorry to hear about Roland. He was always a hard worker and a devoted husband and father. I remember him always taking about his dog and how much he loved him. My prayers are with all of your family and those beautiful little girls he loved so much.

Hi Dad. I keep coming back to this page every time I miss you, which is a lot. I didn’t want to keep bothering you, but Mom said it was ok to post again. I love this picture of us, so I figured I’d leave it here for you to enjoy, too. I miss you and love you a lot! Don’t worry, I’m taking care of Mom as best as I can…which isn’t nearly as good as you! But I’m trying!

My heart breaks for you, Flora and the girls. I know that Roland will be greatly missed. I am so grateful to have spent time with the two of you together this past month. And I was able to reminisce about Jim with Roland. That was a "God wink" gift. I will be here for you, Flora. I'd like to see you again soon. I'll keep in touch. We were brought together again for a reason.
Love to all, Priscilla Dowd

Roland was truly a wonderful person. As a co employee of his working at Frito lay for many years he was a person who always had a good word for everyone. Any one who knew him would always remember his kindness towards others and what a wonderful family man he was. He set a good example to others. My sincere condolences to the family. RIP

To all of Roly's family: I will miss my friend Roly at the coffee shop where we shared many memories of Vietnam. He always had a smile even with the challenges he faced. He will be missed.

Words can’t express how much I will miss my dad. He is the best father I ever could have asked for. His dedication and devotion to his family were apparent from my earliest memories, right through to my adulthood. I never questioned the fact that his family was the most important thing on his mind, 100% of the time. I truly believe he is the perfect role model for what a father should be. I’d love to share this recent picture of me and him in the park. He is still with me now, and he will be forever.

Whenever you were with Roland you were aware of just how much he loved, and adored, his family, and how much they loved him in return. He was a very lucky man in this regard. Flora, you are amazing. We are so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
