Uncle Arthur was the only uncle I ever really knew. Throughout my childhood, every Christmas, Red took the time to send each niece and nephew a Christmas card in an envelope with a dollar in it. That simple act of kindness meant the world to me! It has become a part of who I am to give gifts to uplift people’s spirits. It is Art’s legacy.
As a teen, I went to live with my grandmother Boller in Connecticut. Uncle Arthur took me adventuring on the weekends to places like New York and Musquomekut Beach and to the Boardwalk. He spoiled me rotten, and I knew I was cherished for the first time in my life.
When Aunt Bernadette joined our family, I was delighted to get to know her! She loved my whacky Uncle deeply and played off of him perfectly. It was a match made in heaven! I believe they are together again, and I look forward to seeing them again someday.

In July 1994, Art's sister Anne married Keith Ripley. They rented a 9 bedroom, 1 bath old mansion in Maine for a month, and extended family were invited to come. This photograph includes Art's sister Anne & Keith in the center, second row from the top, with brother Frank Boller beside Anne, Bernadette beside Keith, Art behind Bernadette, Art's sister Mary La Pre and her husband, all of Anne's kids and their families, a ton of nieces, nephews, cousins, second cousins and a lot of extended relatives we rarely get to see together in a lifetime! Love to all of you!
