Paul Bennett, Jr. posted a condolence
Though I was not close to Carol in later years, the last time I saw brought back very fond memories of her in my childhood. Carol was my older cousin and I remember visiting her and the family as a child. She was always kind and loving to a pesky little boy 4 years younger than her.
I know she is missed by her family, and I pray for their healing and understanding in why she had to go at this point in time.

I only got to meet Carol Ann one time a few days before her death. She is my husband's niece and he considered her "his daughter". She welcomed me into her home and made me feel a part of her family. My prayers are with her family as they process the unknown. She was the kind of person that could juggle 5 tasks at the same time and make them all work. I am so glad I got to meet her.

JoDe Layton posted a condolence
All I can say is that Carol had the patience of Jobe. I constantly called sometimes 5 times in one day only to hear her say, "Jod remember",and then we would laugh. The short time I knew Carol there was one thing I am certain of she was so proud of her girls. She recently sent a photo of "her and the girls". You were blessed simply for knowing her. My days will be dim with out her...
God Bless her family as they begin a journey of healing.
Sadly missed,
JoDe Layton

How unfair it seems that someone who has spent their life helping others, is taken away so young. We will all miss your big smile and even bigger heart.

To Carol's family: I am extremey saddened by Carol's passing. There was not a week that went by that I did not speak with her at least twice. Sometimes just to give her and give her a hard time about some business with Rogers. I work for Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. and do quite a bit of business with Rogers. I always reminded her that we were Rogers biggest customer and should get preferred treatment. It never phased her. No matter what I said, she always had a better come back than mine. She had a great sense of humor that I enjoyed. I will miss her. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. The will be remembered in the Yake family prayers.

We knew Carol mostly through her beautiful daughter, Bonnie. Her evident love for family and animals makes her a person the world could not afford to lose, and the world will surely be a lesser place without her. We hope her family can feel her presence as they try to cope with her premature ascendence to heaven.

I work for a customer of Rogers, All Printing Resources, and dealt with Carol regularing regarding our orders. I always would kid her about being a part-timer because she was able to take a lot more days off than I.
We often discussed our spouses, family and anything that came to mind. She was a wonderful person and I wish I had the chance to meet her at least once.
Her loss affected all of us here at APR today, and for a long time to come.

Though I had worked with Carol for 4 years at Rogers, I really had not had a chance to get to know her until this year. What a pleasure. What I have learned from Carol, is that her family meant everything to her. She is the most caring person I have ever known. Her smile just brightened everyone's day. May she rest in peace.

Carol was a such a warm and caring person. I had the good fortune to work with her for the last four years and she not only did a great job servicing her own customers but she would also help me and others in any way possible. I know she was like this in her personal life as well. She always put everyone else first. When things were crazy, as they often were, she would respond with "no big wiggle" and once again tackle whatever was at hand. She was not just a co-worker, she was a good friend and I feel blessed to have had her in my life. I will miss her terribly.

Carol My Dearest Sister,
So often in life you forget to show emotion to the ones you love until it is to late. Not often enough in your life was I able to show how much I loved and admired you and Steve. Everything you had done for Melissa, Nicholas, Mikayla, and myself never asking for anything in return. You played a great part in molding me into the man I am today and I do not know where I would be today without having you to look up to and guiding me. Never able to call you up when I need advice on how to raise my children. You were taken away from us way to early, and we all need you so much.
You will be forever in our hearts and memories.
Love Bubba
