Obituary of Donald A. Morrison

Donald A. Morrison, 53, of Putnam, died unexpectedly Monday at Day Kimball Hospital. Beloved husband of Susan (Loomis) Morrison. He was born June 4, 1954 in Pawtucket, RI, son of the late Donald and Gloria (Couture) Morrison. He was a Putnam Police Officer for 33 years. He leaves his wife, Susan, sons: Michael Morrison and his wife Nicole of Wallingford; David Morrison and his wife Beth of Putnam, step sons: Benjamin Rawson and his wife JoAnne of Thompson; Gary Rawson and his wife Nikki of Thompson, brother: Wayne Morrison of Putnam, sisters: Deborah Vaillant and her husband Lucien of Putnam; Nancy Salvas and her husband Danny of Putnam; Carol Phaneuf and her husband Raymond of Woodstock, grandchildren: Ian, Kayla, Alec, Jacob, Macy, Logan, Ava, Evan, Joshua, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Gary Morrison. Funeral Services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Putnam Police Union, 189 Church Street, Putnam, CT 06260.
