Debra Campbell posted a condolence
To Sheri and her family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I can personally understand your grief. I too lost my father to cancer this past January, and I seem to get more emotionally involved with patients experiencing the same illness. I did not find out about Janet's passing until it was in the newspaper, I am sorry I could not be there to comfort you at the funeral home. I visited Janet in her room the day after I admitted her, and she looked like she was improving, but we never know when God will take our loved ones. I wish you and your family the strength to get through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I remember going to my Aunt Janet's house as a little child. Playing with my cousins, riding bikes on the bmx track in the yard, watching all the adults play cards. I have very fond memories of my Aunt and loved her dearly! I only wish that she'd stayed in Michigan, so I would have been able to spend more time with her throughout the years as I've grown older!!! You will be missed by all who knew you!

I remember the first time I met Janet was shortly after having met her son, Stacey. She knew nothing about me, but Janet took me in and welcomed me as if I was one of the family. She always had a special way of making you feel right at home. Over the years, no matter how long it had been since we talked, she still made it seem as if it had just been a couple of days since we last spoke. Janet had a simple ease about her that made everyone feel welcome. I will miss her.

I will miss Janet very much. I recently worked with Janet and she always had a big smile. We had alot of fun. We both like golf and Tiger Woods. So she must be smiling now after his big win at the US Open. She always spoke about her family and grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jim and Candy Pierson posted a condolence
Janet was a good neighbor and friend for a number of years in St. Johns, Michigan before moving. She had a wonderful laugh and we remember her with love. Janet and the kids moved next to us after her husband died. Stacey and Tracey were a handful for Janet as they were growing up, Sheri was her stronghold and God her strength. We could always depend on those busy boys causing a stir of some type and Sheri hollering at them while Janet took it all in stride. We can see it all in our memories as though it was just yesterday. One thing we know for sure was as we chatted in later years it was evident how proud she was of those grandkids. We know Sheri, Tracey, and Stacey will miss their beloved mom but in our heart we know Janet is with her Lord and Savior and she couldn't be in a better place. We read something after Jim's parents died that we cling to and it might help you..."our family chain has been broken now but someday one by one we will be linked together again. God bless and know we send our love and prayers!
