Dawn Ferland posted a condolence
I was saddened to hear of Sharon's passing. I use to enjoy seeing her at Stacy's WA games, and with Marvin at Ellis Tech. I believe the biggest contribution one can make in life is in their children. Sharon certainly made a large impact by being such a wonderful parent, as both her kids are terrific people. I know she must have had a similar impact on her grandchildren, and her memory will always be fondly remembered.

Sharon has always been so special to me. She and her brother Snooky were my first babysitting charges...and they were fun and well-behaved too! Then Sharon was one of a group of girls in my 4-H club. We had such a good time and Sharon was a pleasure always. I'll remember Sharon smiling, enjoying her family, enjoying life in the community. I know she's smiling now and reunited with her Dad and Mom. May God grant comfort and peace to her family and friends.

I loved to sit and talk with Sharon. We could talk about anything and it was never boring.....the time seemed to fly by. I am so thankful that I was able to see her and visit with her in 2007.

Sharon was a very dear friend from school days in Woodstock. She was welcoming when I arrived here in this country and was in need of a friend. Sharon was one of the sweetest people I have known and I am thankful that she was a part of my life. Rest in peace my friend.

Sharon and I grew up together in the East village, it was a very happy time and place to live. Later in life she was my bridesmaid at my marriage to Paul Paquette, another happy time. I do remeber Sharon coming to the house one day, driving a brand new navy blue Mustang convertable. I believe it was the first mustang model ever made. She was so excited about it. What funny memories we have. David and Susan, she will always have a very special spot in my heart. Always, Pam

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Sharon's family. We have so many fond memories of Sharon and Calvin coming into the Country Store every morning for her "toasted blueberry muffin"...most of the time, meeting her parent's, Sue & George and when there was no school, Stacy and Marvin would be with them. Sometimes, she would sneak back in the afternoon for another "toasted blueberrie muffin"! We will hold on to those memories and the laughter we used to share forever.

A beautiful person... that has been my feeling about Sharon since I had the privilege of meeting her. My parents have enjoyed many good times and a few very precious trips with Sharon, Calvin and the Fosketts and I know they are thankful for having a friend like Sharon. I wish you all my sincerest prayers for getting through this time, I know it was too soon... she will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Calvin and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Sharon was a fighter and very strong through out her ordeal. She couldn't have done it without her family, she loved you all very much. We will always remember the gatherings at the lake with Pat and Kim on the 4th of July, and the other Neely- Blackmer get togethers. Sharon will be missed but will be there in spirit and in memory.

Big Sister;
I always looked up to you. You were the first to leave home and go to school, the first to get an apartment,
the first to get married and have kids.
The first to become a grandparent.
Now the first to go to be with Mom and Dad.
You faced a terrible disease the same way you lived your life. With dignity,
and your sense of humor.
A big sister, friend, wife, aunt, niece, mom and grandma.
What a great life.
Your little brother misses you...

You will be missed Aunt Sharon. Even though I'm happy you're not suffering anymore, it is still hard to say goodbye :( You were a part of the best family we kids could have ever asked for! We will all take care of Calvin, Marvin, Stacy and the grand-kidlets. Rest in Peace. Love, your niece.
